All the Good Things We Remember: Bintan Island

We should be in Bintan last May for sessions but you all know what happened during this pandemic. In order to cure our longing for the magnificent island, we compiled all the good things we can remember from our last year trip.

Good Places

There are several accommodations from hostel to hotel that you can choose but last time, we stayed in Babahouse Bnb and had a really cozy time there.



There are many options for an adventurous soul that offer peculiar views such as Sand Dune, Dompak Violet Hills, Kijang Blue Lake, Mama Beach, and many more. What's great about them? they look surreal and mostly free to explore.

Good Food

The food is, however, amazing! We always have room for gastro adventure from restaurant to hawkers centers. If we could choose just a few to be delivered to our place right now, it would be bakut teh, teh tarik and kwetiau kota kijang. You might get that in Jakarta but it's, hmm, different. Try them yourself. ;)

Good Vibes 

Bintan is a great place to escape from the city crowd. It lets you unwind and free your mind while exploring beautiful places. Simply stroll around and observe the neighborhood is kind of therapeutic for us.

Good Fellas & Doggo

If you need a tour guide, our friend from Babalovetrip will be happy to help you wander around. If you are lucky enough, a fur assistant named Bubu will be ready to assist you too!
